The Learning Outside the Classroom group is a resource for teachers with a passion for outdoor learning, as well as practitioners in organisations like Southend Museums. The group provides updates, news & ideas and is hosted in a different venue each time.
The next meeting is in the autumn term 2014, Tuesday 2nd December at 4pm a the newly refurbished Shoebury Heritage Centre.
The SaLT curriculum group is a group of teachers and practitioners around the town that have an interest in enrichment and curriculum-based programmes to support pupils. The group discuss updates on the curriculum, projects going on in and around the town, ideas for courses, activities and brainstorming.
