There are currently spaces in a BEL 3 (Basic Expedition Leader course) - the most suitable starting qualification for D of E leaders.
The First course starts on Saturday this week - email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to be part of this. The cost is £300 and details are as follows:

Feb 8th & 9th
Then a residential camping weekend from the evening of 21st March to afternoon of 23rd March.
Assessment weekend 25th - 27th April (residential from 5pm Friday)
The Second course is an intensive one, lasting all of Half term, and is designed for those with lots of experience in the outdoors, camping and teaching but no qualification combining them for the D of E leadership requirement. There are still some spaces on this. The cost is £350 and details are as follows:

26th Oct - 1st Nov ( daily)
Assessment weekend of March 7th - 9th 2014 (residential from 5pm Friday)
First Aid in the Outdoors
There are two dates for this course, this is the 8 hour one, therefore one day and each costs £50.
Course 1 is 20th October and the Course 2 is 17th November. These are both the same - it is not a two day course. Once of these may run later is demand is high enough.
