About the Presenters
Nikki has been a committed secondary school teacher for 20 years, and has worked effectively with students and staff to produce consistently exceptional results and progress in that time. For approximately twelve years, a large part of her role in schools has been advising, supporting and developing staff in both Primary and Secondary organisations. Firstly as a member of an Advanced Skills Teacher hub, then as an OLEVI Trained facilitator and as an invited speaker at National and Regional Arts College Conferences and the National Conference for Outstanding Teaching and Learning. She has a passionate belief that the most powerful pedagogic training for teachers, or strategic advice for schools comes from someone that knows about the daily reality of life in a school - so she is looking forward to sharing good practice and practical ideas on the ITP.
Jane Price has worked in various leadership roles at schools in Thurrock and Southend for the last 10 years. She is currently working as part of the Leadership team at Blenheim Primary school with a main focus of responsibility in the lower years. Over the last 10 years Jane as lead many teams in a variety of roles and responsibilities, all with two common themes, raising standards and achievement for all. She believes that quality first teaching is the key to a good education and at the heart of that must lie a passion and commitment to achieve the best for pupils and colleagues alike.
