This course has been developed in collaboration with CLEAPSS. It will provide you with the opportunity to learn skills and techniques specifically tailored to supporting A level biology. A variety of apparatus and experiments will be demonstrated and you will be able to obtain hands-on experience. A range of ways to undertake traditional experiments along with new ideas will be presented and include ways to incorporate ICT.
You will be able to:
- gain experience in the setup, use and demonstration of a variety of A level biology equipment and experiments
- identify new ideas for software and resources used to support A level biology
- recognise relevant safety precautions related to experiments and equipment including the identification of hazards and production of risk assessments
Impact Award bursary from the Department for Education may be available toward the cost of this CPD for teachers or technicians. Applicants must be employed in a state funded secondary school or college, including maintained schools, academies and free schools. Find out more
