What is a SLE?
SLEs are outstanding middle and senior leaders who have the skills to support individuals or teams in similar positions in other schools. They understand what outstanding leadership practice in their area of expertise looks like, and are skilled in helping other leaders to achieve it in their own context.
Where can I get more information about SLEs?
Full details about the role & application round can be found at www.education.gov.uk/nationalcollege/sle. The application round is open from 2 to 23 October. The application form should be downloaded followed by a submission online supported by the Headteacher. Registration to National College may be necessary.
Who is this event for?
This event is for anybody aspiring towards becoming a SLE, in particular those who intend applying to a Teaching School Alliance (TSA) based in either Essex, Southend or Thurrock.
