The STEM Ambassadors Programme is a free of charge resource for teachers, schools and colleges across the UK, offering you support from thousands of people with STEM backgrounds to help you excite and inspire your students in Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths.
THE BENEFITS TO YOU
Each volunteer Ambassador is registered, trained and checked with the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) or the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in Scotland. They can help you in a variety of ways - within the curriculum and beyond.
WHO ARE STEM AMBASSADORS?
Ambassadors come from an extremely diverse range of backgrounds and working environments. What they all have in common is that they use STEM skills in their everyday lives and have a desire to help more young people understand how Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths can help them achieve their potential.
OUR CURRENT AMBASSADORS INCLUDE:
Healthcare scientists, physicists, environmental scientists, engineers of all disciplines, statisticians, architects, financial modellers, apprentices, industrial chemists, microbiologists, zoologists, designers, geologists, electronics specialists, set designers and countless others.
