We have established a programme of half-termly activity workshops bringing together all those teachers in the locality currently pursuing formal postgraduate educational studies. Each session would typically contain a ‘research nugget’ (of immediate value and application in schools); a participant sharing the findings – or design – of their research; and workshop help relating to common issues in postgraduate study.
*Headteacher of Southend High School for Boys, Robin Bevan is also vice-chair of the National Teacher Research Panel and was a Research Training Fellow (University of Cambridge) for the Teaching & Learning Research Programme.
