Teaching Internship Programme 2023
Considering a career in teaching….? Take this fantastic opportunity to discover what it’s really like to be a secondary school teacher!
This national programme, funded by the DfE is once again offering undergraduates in a Maths, Physics, Computer Science, MFL or a Chemistry related degree the chance to experience a 3 week paid internship in a secondary school with a view to considering a career in teaching.
Applicants will need to complete all necessary forms, give references, attend an interview and pass the standard safeguarding procedures (DBS). Interns will work closely with the relevant department to experience all aspects of teaching. This could include observing & supporting teachers, helping plan & deliver part of a lesson, working with individual pupils or small groups of pupils, taking part in clubs & shadowing a form tutor. They will be provided with a mentor & receive induction training regarding professional expectations & safeguarding.
Each intern will receive £900 upon completion (see terms & conditions).

19th June - 7th July 2023
