Stretch and challenge in science RH298 / E20

This bespoke course explores the nature of Stretch and Challenge in the classroom and will support you to design a curriculum that embeds Stretch and Challenge into all lessons.
- gain a better understanding of what Stretch and Challenge means
- have a clearer view of what Stretch and Challenge might look like in your classroom
- take away several tried-and-tested ideas to use in your classrooms
- understand how to develop an overarching science curriculum strategy that ensures Stretch and Challenge becomes a natural part of all Teaching and Learning.

We have lots of primary science network meetings taking place across Southend, Essex & Thurrock and have our upcoming primary festival taking place online in January. Details of these are as follows:
Science Primary Network Groups 2020-2021
We are now offering ONLINE primary science network meetings for 20/21 in five regions across Southend, Essex & Thurrock. All meetings are chaired by local primary science teachers and experts and at each meeting there will be time to talk, to ask questions, help each other and to flag up science & STEM opportunities in your region. There will also be a short CPD element to the session (1 hour).
£20pp per meeting for maintained schools - advance booking is required for each session.

Join us for a slightly different approach to our annual event! Each of our three online sessions will be 1 hour long and the event is offered as a "drop in” - so you can attend any or all that you would find useful. Simply join the relevant session via the link 10 mins before the session starts. Time is available at the end of each session to ask questions. Sessions will be delivered via Adobe Connect.
