Cutting Edge Science: Genomics on 17 June (Cambridge venue)

Available to book for all schools in Essex, Southend and Thurrock, this inspirational course will enable teachers to understand the latest developments at the cutting edge of genomics research and bring this back to the classroom.

Taking place at the Wellcome Genome Campus, you:

  • will experience a tour of the world’s foremost facility in genomics research and computational biology. You will
  • hear from lead scientists about their research (including a tour of stem cell research laboratories), participate in
  • hands-on practical activities and receive expert guidance on how to link genomics research to the curriculum

Pricing

The cost of this course is £185 for maintained schools and colleges with a teacher release payment bursary of £100 payable on completion of the course.
